When used with crimp or compression connectors, this stripper does not replace a good standard stripping tool in any way. The braid is either not cut at all or cut very untidily. Therefore, this stripping tool is not suitable for precisely stripping cables for compression and crimp connector mounting. However, for use in coaxial contact clamps (like those on antenna sockets) or for setting screw connectors, it is a very handy accessory, as you can essentially handle any stripping size. Moreover, as a bonus, electrical cables can also be easily stripped.
