The MSRP 58 eco is a multiswitch for fully receiver-powered distribution networks for a single satellite system. A new energy-efficient power management concept allows the receiver to power both the multiswitch and the connected Quatro LNB. This eliminates the need for an external power supply, as the receivers entirely provide power. Each of the 8 outputs can operate a conventional receiver with 14V/18V/22kHz control.

In an emergency, the multiswitch can also be connected to a QUAD LNB; a 22 kHz generator is integrated. In this case, note that the power consumption increases, and if in doubt (if one of the connected receivers is overloaded in individual operation), an external power supply should be connected - We strongly recommend using a Quattro LNB!

Unlike fully receiver-powered multiswitches from many other manufacturers, this series can optionally connect an external power supply if needed.

Important Note:
The multiswitch is only somewhat suitable for joint SAT and Cable TV operation, as it allows signals at the terrestrial input only up to 790 MHz. It is not suitable for operation in Triple-Play networks (internet and phone via cable); for pure cable TV (TV only), it can be used. For DVB-T/DVB-T2 input, it is ideally suited due to this feature.
