Due to its shorter length (about 5 mm shorter than the standard Cabelcon compression connectors), it is ideal for connections with limited space, for example for the wiring of Kathrein UAS-LNBs. Interesting for installers: The lengthy search for a suitable connector for unknown cables is eliminated. The elimination of the inner tube makes the F-connector relatively independent of the diameter of the dielectric. The plug was developed for use on highly shielded connection cables for cable modems, HD receivers and HF patch cables. The plug is fully functional even when half-connected and still maintains the shielding dimension. In conjunction with the Cabelcon Seal Ring, the connector is waterproof (24 h at 1 m water depth). The NiTin coating guarantees the best corrosion resistance.
